Elevating Connections Between CSAE and its Members Through Content Marketing 

The Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) is a national member-based organization that supports excellence in the Canadian association sector. When CSAE needed help with content creation, design, and strategy, they turned to Anamorphiq because of our digital-first approach, proven expertise, and our ability to take the lead so they could focus on their important work.

The Challenge

CSAE already had a solid brand identity and social media strategy. But, with a key team member away on leave, they needed support on content strategy and development and were looking for help to fill that gap. Anamorphiq was asked to step in and become an integral part of the CSAE team.

The Objective

Create and design high-impact content that would reach CSAE members with the information they need to succeed as association executives.

The Approach

Knowing that CSAE had a strong foundation in place, we started by quickly integrating into their existing tools and processes. We focused on understanding their goals and approaches, in order to best support them.

At a tactical level, we created, posted and monitored social media content across CSAE’s various channels. We designed the artwork for their national conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We also provided writing support: CSAE offers its members an abundance of resources, including blog posts that summarize key insights from the knowledgeable guest experts at their member webinars. Anamorphiq’s talented writers could sit through a session, quickly identify what was important, and communicate it in an engaging, informative style for CSAE membership.

Recognizing the value we brought to the organization, CSAE also engaged us to complete a comprehensive communications audit. The audit included an extensive review of CSAE’s materials, a competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews and industry best practices. The final report and recommendations provided critical input that would help to inform CSAE’s future marketing and communications direction.

The Results

Anamorphiq quickly became a trusted part of the CSAE marketing team. We delivered compelling content that matched – or even exceeded – CSAE’s expectations. There was no gap in communications for CSAE members, and CSAE was able to continue to deliver valuable resources even at a time when its team was short-handed. Better yet, Anamorphiq left CSAE with a clear assessment of its communications efforts, and a strong set of recommendations to take it into the future.
